"Mr. Potter has been joining us at meals more often," Minerva said, that irritating smirk plastered across her face.
"Your powers of observation are astounding," Severus replied dryly. "Please, continue to point out the obvious to me. I doubt I could actually digest my food if I did not have someone as intelligent as yourself to narrate the mediocrity surrounding me." He shoved his peas into his mashed potatoes and continued to ignore her knowing looks.
"Why," she asked suddenly, "do you continue to place food on your plate that you know you are not going to eat?"
"The asinine questions are a nice touch as well."
